Loudon Motors Ford Reviews the 2019 Ford Fusion

The Ford Fusion, my personal favorite in Ford’s fleet, has been in production for 14 years, as it first rolled off the production line in 2005. This car has a lot of sentimental value, to me, because I learned how to drive in my father’s Fusion. Knowing that I wanted my first car to be a Ford, but not trying to copy my dad, I ended up leasing myself a Ford Escape instead. Ford has a way of bringing people together with their superior product, and this 2019 model is all about keeping your family and friends safe and comfortable.

First, let’s talk about the power it packs. The base level trim, the Fusion S, comes equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pushes out 173 hp and a 6 speed transmission. From here, the power and speed capability only continues to increase. The top trim, the Fusion V6 Sport, has a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine that pushes out 325 hp and a 6 speed transmission. Also, the Fusion S is front wheel drive and the Fusion V6 is an all wheel drive.

Like I said before, safety was a big part of the 2019 Fusion. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration gave the model a 5 star safety rating as it has many features to make sure your driving experience is as stress free as possible. The brakes on the 2019 Fusion are considered top of their class, as it only needed 116 feet to come to a complete stop during a simulated-panic stop while going 60 mph. Also, all models include automatic headlights, a rearview backup camera, cruise control and Co-Pilot360 Protect, which is Ford’s new safety suite. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation and lane keeping assist.

Since technology runs our society, all new vehicles have to have outstanding technology to be considered at the top of their class. The 2019 Fusion comes correct with an array of technological advances. It has Ford’s famous Sync 3 system that supports all bluetooth devices, Apple Carplay, Android Auto and a USB port to plug in your device. The Sync 3 system also has phenomenal navigation and voice command capabilities. With the voice control, you can control your music, navigation and even your messages and calls from your connected cell phone.

When my current lease is up in May, I plan to get myself into a 2019 Ford Fusion. It is the perfect mid-size sedan and has an outstanding safety rating, which is very important to me. If you are looking for a new, safe vehicle, come down to Loudon Motors Ford where we have all different trims of the Ford Fusion!
